Care
Care is a routine,
not a promise.
Every claim on this page is a procedure. You can check whether we are doing it.

Every day
What happens whether anything is wrong or not.
- Vitals are taken daily and written down. Blood pressure, pulse, temperature, whatever else the doctor has asked for. Recorded, not remembered.
- Medicines are administered, not left on a table. The nursing team dispenses what is due, when it is due.
- Every resident has a personal health chart. Kept up to date, so that a slow change shows up as a slow change — before it becomes an emergency at two in the morning.
That last point is the whole argument for a place like this. Most crises in later life are not sudden. They are gradual, and they are missed because nobody was writing anything down.
The daily welfare check
Somebody knocks on the door every day.
Once a day, every day, a member of staff visits every home — to check that the resident is well, and that the room is well. Not a camera, not a sensor, not a call button waiting to be pressed. A person, at the door.
It is a small routine, and it is the one that matters most. Nobody at PAN Paradise can go unseen for days. For a family far away, that single fact answers the worst of the worry.

Who is on your floor
Twenty nurses, three shifts, and one on your floor at every hour.
Professional nursing runs 24 hours in three shifts, and every floor has its own nursing station. When you need someone at three in the morning, they are on your floor — not a voice at the end of a call button.

The doctor
Weekly, and whenever you need one.
A doctor visits every week for routine consultations, and comes on request between visits.
On campus there is a doctor's room, an observation room where someone can be watched properly for a few hours, and a dental clinic.
When something goes wrong
The sequence, in order.
- The nurse on your floor reaches you first.
- If it needs a doctor, one is called.
- If it needs a hospital, the ambulance is already here — fully equipped, on campus, day and night. Nobody is calling around for a vehicle.
- AP Varkey Hospital is 2 km away. JNP Hospital at Piravom is 6 km. Welcare Clinic at Kanjiramattom is 5 km.
- Your family is told. Not eventually — as it happens.

In your own home
Built in, not added later.
- Emergency call button
- Grab rails
- A wheelchair-accessible bathroom, with hot water
- Provision for oxygen and CPAP support

The wristband
It notices before you can call out.
Every resident wears a smart wristband that detects a medical emergency and alerts the nursing team directly. It matters most in the situations where calling for help is the one thing you cannot do.
The medical deposit
So treatment never waits for paperwork.
Alongside the main deposit, each resident places a medical deposit of ₹3 lakhs — ₹4 lakhs for a couple. It exists for one purpose: emergency, unplanned hospital treatment. It is a buffer between funds being arranged or insurance approval — to make sure that no treatment is withheld by any hospital.
It is held separately from the main deposit and is never mixed with it. Whatever is not spent is refunded in full. If it is drawn on, it is topped back up within 30 days.
Residents holding medical cover of at least ₹10 lakhs place a reduced medical deposit of ₹1 lakh.
Government taxes are charged in addition, at the applicable rate.
If you come to need more
You stay. That is the point.
This is the question every family asks, so here is the plain answer.
PAN Paradise is your home, and it stays your home. If your needs grow — if you come to need a full-time attendant, or nursing beyond what is included, or care at the end of life — you do not have to leave and start again somewhere unfamiliar.
- Your family brings in the help. If you would rather choose the person yourself, arrange a private attendant and they work with our team, here.
- Or we arrange it. Tell us what is needed and we will source it, manage it and bill you for it. This matters most for families living abroad, who cannot realistically find and vet a caregiver in Ernakulam from another country.
Either way, the answer to "what happens then" is not "then they have to move".
And the honest limit
We are not a hospital, and we do not pretend to be one. An acute medical episode means hospital — as it would for anyone, at any age. The difference is what surrounds it: the ambulance is already on campus, the nearest hospital is four minutes away, your family hears from us as it happens — and afterwards, you come home. During any absence of a month or more, including a hospital stay, the care fee is reduced by half.
Ask us the hard questions.
Come on a weekday. Ask a nurse what she does at three in the morning. Ask to see a health chart. That is a more useful hour than any brochure.
