The setting

Haritha Gardens sits among paddy fields at Arakkunnam, a little east of Kochi. It is properly quiet. It is not, however, remote: the nearest hospital is a four-minute drive, Kochi's suburbs begin ten kilometres away, and the airport is under an hour.
The paddy beyond the boundary is protected under the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008. The view is not ours to promise — which is rather the point. It is protected by law, not by us.

By road, rail and air.
- By road — Arakkunnam is on the Kochi–Piravom route, off NH 66 via Thrippunithura.
- By rail — Mulamthuruthy railway station is 5 km away.
- By air — Cochin International Airport, 40 km, about an hour. We will arrange the transfer.
